BOSSIER CITY, La. - Bossier City's animal shelter is overcrowded and Dale Keeler, superintendent for the shelter, said it is becoming an everyday thing.
"Yes, we're very crowded," Keeler said. "The problem is people are not getting their dogs spay and neutered. Therefore, leaving a problem as to where dogs getting out and having babies and kittens. It's just an everyday problem."
The shelter is open for adoption of dogs and cats from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
