WASKOM, Texas - A bright young man whose life was taken too early. Keileon Johnson, was 22 when he was shot to death last Thursday by Tramaine Eugene Butler, a classmate for the past few years.

"I saw him for the first time today. To view his body for the first time, and he looked like he was at peace. He looked as if he was just sleeping today. I have no animosity. I have no hatred. I have no vengeance. I have no vindictive spirit.", said Stacy Johnson, the victim's mother.

Johnson was a top student with a passion for football. He played offense and defense for the wildcats. His coach, Whitney keeling, remembers his energy.

"He was just one of those kids that was infectious; his attitude. He was always fun to be around, to be with. We are going to miss him for sure."

A viewing is set for 11:00 a.m. tomorrow at the Wakom High School’s gym, followed by a funeral service.

"I love him. And yes you are my favorite. You've always been my favorite, but don't tell anyone. That is what I would tell my son.", added his mother.
