Shreveport, LA - Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured in west Shreveport.
On November 29,2018 , just after 6:00 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 4600 block of Lyba Street on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived and located one male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, one adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and one adult female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.
All three victims were transported to Ochsner LSU Health with what was described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and launched their investigation.
During the preliminary stages of their investigation, detectives learned the couple was allegedly meeting an unknown suspect to sell a puppy.
When they arrived at the meeting location, the suspect(s) ambushed them.
The investigation is ongoing.
