SHREVEPORT, La. - Every Man A King Distilling and its restaurant partner, the Revenir, will officially break ground for its $5 million privately funded venture Wednesday, June 26, at 4:00 p.m.
The 30,000 square foot entertainment complex in the Shreveport Common Cultural Arts District will feature an operating distillery, open-kitchen French restaurant, hidden "speakeasy" music club and event space, along with approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of leased office space.
Just steps from the Strand Theatre and a walk-able distance from Municipal Auditorium and newly created The Common Park, the owners hope to build on the history and recent positive momentum of the neighborhood, while providing an experience unique to Shreveport.
Please join Mayor Adrian Perkins, owners Andrew Larson and Lindsey Pennington, and public and private community leaders downtown Wednesday June 26th at 4 pm at the site of the former Arlington Hotel, 700 Cotton St. to take part in this exciting community renewal.
