SHREVEPORT, La. - Between the hours of 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Salvation Army is giving out free Thanksgiving Day lunches to anyone that shows up.
Last year, they served over 1,100 people. This year, due to the number of people effected by COVID, they expect those numbers to be even higher.
Their main building is located on the 200 block of East Stoner Avenue. If you go to get a meal remember that it is a to-go/pick up system.
