SHREVEPORT, La. - Power is slowly coming on to those without electricity from last week's and Sunday night's storms.
SWEPCO said more than 300 linemen and tree trimmers are working to restore power.
As of 5 p.m. Monday, just over 16,000 customers were without power from Texas into Louisiana.
Parishes with the highest number of outages:
Caddo Parish, 5,821
Bossier Parish, 5,158
Natchitoches Parish, 2,000
Estimated restoration times for 95 percent of customers in the Shreveport-Bossier area are preliminary.
These may be shortened as additional linemen become available.
• Bossier City – 10 p.m. Thursday
• Haughton (includes North Bossier Parish) – 10 p.m. Wednesday
• Plain Dealing – 6 p.m. Tuesday
