A local swimming pool repairman is in hot water after investigators say he scammed customers out of thousands of dollars."He's not really completing the job anywhere," said Detective Jeff Gilmour with the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.Authorities say Travis Porter, 27, is wanted for at least one count of felony home improvement fraud. Gilmour says he knows of four cases in which Porter accepted money for work that was never finished."He said he'd be right back and I haven't seen him since," said Kristian McCain.McCain says he gave Porter $800 to replace the liner in his backyard pool and make some repairs. Porter reportedly showed up for one hour back in April, tore the old liner out of McCain's pool then vanished."There's no room in this world for people who scam on people," said McCain while standing next to his empty pool.Investigators say Porter knows he's wanted, but refuses to come in and talk to them."He's always there with an excuse about a family member, a personal problem or something like that," said Gilmour.Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Porter to call them as soon as possible.
