Toledo Bend Reservoir continues to rise from runoff from the weekend storms despite an increase in the amount of water released through the spillway gates. The reservoir measured 172.94 feet at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. That’s up from 172.8 feet Monday.

The Sabine River Authority has opened more of the spillway gates on Toledo Bend Reservoir to draw down the level that's been rising because of the recent rainfall.In an advisory released this morning, the SRA staff says nine spillway gates are open.
