Hurricane Dorian made a brief landfall near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina this morning according to the National Hurricane Center. The Radar image shows the eye or the center of the storm over the cape near 7:30 this morning.
Late this afternoon, the storm is finally out to sea! It's moving away at nearly 25 mph.
The forecast calls for Dorian to strike eastern Canada by the weekend. Hurricane Warnings are in effect for Nova Scotia.
