SHREVEPORT, La. - The fire danger is growing increasingly worse across the ArkLaTex. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration indicates moderate to severe drought across the region.
The burn ban list continues to grow. Here's the latest:
Louisiana - Caddo (Fire Districts 3, 4, 5 & 6), Bossier, Webster, Lincoln, Union, DeSoto, Red River, Bienville, Sabine and Natchitoches parishes.
Texas - Bowie, Morris, Cass, Upshur, Marion, Gregg, Harrison and Rusk counties.
Oklahoma - none.
Arkansas - Howard, Miller, Hempstead, Lafayette, Columbia, Nevada, Ouachita, Sevier and Union counties.
Outdoor burning is prohibited in these areas until further notice.
